MTJ Construction Handy Man Service (“MTJ Construction”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through mtjhandyman.com and in the course of providing handyman services in Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties, Florida, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you request a quote, book a job, or become a customer, we collect the information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, service address, community and gate-access details, and the details of the work you ask us to do. We also keep records of invoices, payments, and receipts for the jobs we perform.
How we use your information
We use your information only to run our business with you: preparing estimates, scheduling and performing work, sending invoices and receipts, processing payments, responding to your questions, and asking for feedback after a job. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile phone number, we may send you transactional text messages about your service: appointment and job updates, invoices with a secure payment link, payment receipts, and feedback requests. Message frequency varies with your service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance (or call (561) 715-2895).
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text message services that deliver our messages.
Third-party service providers
We share information only with the service providers that make our operations work, and only as needed to serve you. We never sell or rent your information, and we never share it for third-party marketing.
- Twilio — delivers our text messages (see SMS section above).
- Resend — delivers our emails (invoices, receipts, and confirmations).
- OpenAI — powers the chat assistant on our website. If you use the chat widget, your messages are processed by OpenAI to generate a response; we do not send your phone number, invoices, or payment information through chat.
- Mapbox — helps our staff look up and confirm service addresses; this runs on our internal dashboard, not on the public website.
- Google Cloud — hosts our website, database, and stored documents (invoices, receipts) on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
Customer invoice and receipt links do not use tracking cookies. Our staff dashboard uses a secure, essential login cookie so employees stay signed in — this is required for the app to function and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Children's privacy
Our services are directed to adults arranging handyman work for their home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data retention & security
We keep job and billing records as long as needed for tax, warranty, and legal purposes. Your data is stored on access-controlled, encrypted infrastructure. Customer document links are private, expiring links — we recommend not forwarding them.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your contact information at any time by calling (561) 715-2895 or emailing michaelfixxer0410@gmail.com. Opting out of text messages (reply STOP) does not affect your service.
